i have the netgear xr 1000 when i click on device manager  i see things like unamed devices connected to my router is there a way that u can find find out what the device is thats connected ?

@BigMarkNo except if you classify them by checking the IP of each device manually in the household

Also you can use a MAC address lookup tool to also point you in the right direction. But sometime it doesn’t tell you anything 😂

Good points above! It could be a device you have connected via ethernet that you have named and then have connected it to WiFi for example as it would show up as a new device.

Late here but this issue for me was due to an Apple feature for “private wi-fi address” under phones network settings and it just makes a dupe device IP, etc. Cheers
