Correctly set up?

Not sure where your R3 is in relation to your PS5, I’m assuming it’s downstairs? If so the correct setup would be:

Wall > Modem > R3 > downstairs TPLink  connected to R3 LAN port then upstairs TPLink > PS5

We use this setup for our sons consoles/PCs that are upstairs and it works perfectly

Okay this is good help! I’ve got it

wall > modem > tp link downstairs > tp link upstairs R3 > ps5

will I need to change any duma lan or wan settings?

There shouldn’t be any need to change any LAN or WAN settings on the R3, it should work fine as it is, let us know how you get on

This has made a massive step in the right direction for me Thankyou ! Just need to get the geo filter working now !

any other tips you have learnt along the way would help

Your welcome. What issue are you having with the geo-filter? Try setting your geo-filter, reboot the R3, wait 2 minutes then reboot your PS5 does it work then?

We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team will work on when they're back from the holidays. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. Best to change manually for the moment. That sounds good just adjust the R3 as you want to now.
