Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 22, 2023 Administrators Share Posted December 22, 2023 Have you entered the R3 in the DMZ on the Smart Hub? Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What does the speed reduce to, is this over WiFi, ethernet or both?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 22, 2023 Administrators Share Posted December 22, 2023 Does that mean you only have one device connected to the R3 with everything else using the SH2?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 22, 2023 Administrators Share Posted December 22, 2023 Understood, when the speed drops do you notice any patterns e.g. after changing a setting, specific network usage etc?
Zennon
I have a SH2 and just got the R3 the other day and I am not seeing speed drops my set up. Ethernet out of the SH2 > Into the blue WAN port of the R3 Duma in the SH2 DMZ R3 DHCP on Using the 192.168.77.* range in LAN I then get a Duma WAN IP sent from the SH2 : 192.168.1* Told the SH2 to set the Duma IP as a static. I did try to set another way that I thought would be better but the above works out the best. Been getting 1gb download speeds wired. Giving the WiFi 5Ghz an 80Mhz band to get the full WiFi speeds. Zennon
There is no IP address of any consequence here, so no need to blank all local.

Just curious , was there an issue with using 160Mhz for the 5GHz WiFi?

Zennon
The SH2 handed that IP so I set it to static on the R3 and then the SH2 sees it as static

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 22, 2023 Administrators Share Posted December 22, 2023 You may have a faulty ethernet cable connecting the R3 to the Hub or the PC to the R3, if you swap them out does it keep the speed?
