We use the Roku app to control 2 smart Roku TVs. I just swapped out my R2 for an R3 and now the app can't find the TVs. They're all on the same network. Any ideas?

Switching the TV to a wired connected makes it work, but I would prefer to keep it wireless.

Short version, it didn't help.

I tried turning off the steady ping while still at 4.0.16.

Attempted the auto update to 4.0.18(?) and it failed. admin page was unresponsive but the router functioned for the day while i was at work.

Rebooted. Tried the steady ping again, no luck. Turned it back on.

Upgraded to the 4.0.20 firmware. Still no luck, with steady ping on and off.

Changed the connected to wired and it showed up right away in the app.

While on wireless I couldn't ping the TV from my laptop but it resolve the name.

Once wired again, ping worked.

Okay thank you for letting us know, I will have to pass this onto the devs to see if they can reproduce it and identify the issue. In the mean time could you disable SmartBOOST entirely by clicking the :r3menu on the page then go to settings and disable and see if that works?

Can I ask about ETA on a fix?

As it's the holidays everyone is off until the new year so they'll look at everything then and firmware updates will start to come out over the course of January
