See the attached for my geo-filter and ping assist settings.   For the most part, this has been working so far with MW3 multi-player.   After playing for about 30 minutes, it gave me a game host from the East Coast with 70+ms ping.  The in-game was showing around 74ms too.  Therefore, it was not a mislocated server.    The next games were back in California.  I was not able to get a capture while I was in the game.  I only noticed it at the end of the game.

Any ideas on how one game got through?

@UK_Wildcats_FansGeo-Latency is at fault for that it won't follow the geo rules...I would just disable it if you want low ping only and know the server locations that are available in your area

So that’s what that does? I was wondering why I was connecting to servers outside my geofencing

@UK_Wildcats_FansWell it supposed to work as a filter for certain games though realistically even if your game is supported it ignores the geo rules and it becomes pointless as it just ignores your settings you can test it yourself and see how you can connect to over 100ms servers etc the only use is for it not to kick you off games.

In short it the same toggle off and on button on the original geo it just enabled by default as disabled which shouldn't be the case

The devs would like to organize a remote session to take a look at this issue with you further tomorrow, please follow these instructions:

  1. Download Anydesk from here: https://anydesk.com/en-gb/downloads/windows
  2. Ensure you are connected to the R3 and on the router interface and are able to attempt game searches at the same time at the session
  3. Let us know here when you're ready tomorrow
  4. Me or dev will ask you to PM them the Anydesk ID at the top of the program

Yes it was but I believe they've done some other sessions and for the most part identified/reproduced all the issues and will be looking into them.

How are you doing on an update to resolve the issue?

It's the holidays so everyone is off, they'll be looking at all issues when they're back in the new year
