Ping optimizer

Now the ping optimizer isn’t working…tried to log into the app on my phone to adjust some settings, that’s not working either, what is going on?

For the app, uninstall it then reinstall it and it will work.

For Ping Optimizer is may sometimes fail but try it 3 times does it work then? We're looking into it to make it more reliable

I’ve tried it about 5 times now, same message

also, at what point can you see what congestion controls were set, mine seem to just stay at 100%
 

do you have to be in a game for them to adjust to a setting?

You can see them in Ping Optimizer > Advanced and can change them from there manually. They will take affect immediately, they're not tied to being in a game

I thought they automatically adjusted for best settings? No?

That's what the test does yes, if it's staying at 100% that's what it thinks is best and would change the values for you

Maybe it’s not adjusting because I can seem to complete an optimization test

Yeah it won't adjust if you're not able to complete it. We're looking into it at the moment so hopefully we'll have some improvements for it this week

I manually change them and there is no “save” button to click so they don’t stay at my values once I back out of the advanced settings of the optimizer

They should save without a save button, change them, wait around 30 seconds then exit and they should stay
