Xr500 as extender?

I was wondering if the xr500 can be used with the R3 as an extender or access point?

Yes the XR500 does have an AP mode so you could use that with the R3

I thought I lost this post as I couldn't find it which is why it's so long before I responded.

Would you forsee any conflicts between the xr500 and the r3 using the xr500 as an AP since the xr500 won't have DumaOS 4?

No worries, no I can't foresee any issues, the devices connected to the XR should appear on the device manager of the R3 so you can manage them individually with DumaOS 4
