Why am i only getting 160mbps from a 1gb fibre internet????

Theres always problems with this router. I upgraded to a 1gb fibre and I only get 160mbps.

My setup is
On my Huawei main router I get full 1gb speeds.

I dmz the r2 to my main router.

I enabled UPnP

I even disabled all qos for testing on the r2

The device manager on the r2 picks up 1000 full duplex

All Lan cables all pick up 1gb when I test it on the main router.

The automatic speed test detects 150+- speeds and so does the benchmarks

And yes they are all tested on Lan and wifi

What else could be the problem. This is honestly frustrating

May be worth doing a factory reset so it sets up again with the new speeds, might be holding on to the slower speeds for some reason

Is this normal for a 1000mb line?
Should the full duplex be 100mb?

Hi !

Can you show us a speedtest behind your ISP router and a speedtest behind the R2 in RJ45?

For information... You will never obtain speeds of more than 250/300 Mbps in wifi behind the R2 in the best conditions! ...

In addition, it may also be due to the limitation of your wifi card (PC/phone)...
