Max2110
Why am i only getting 160mbps from a 1gb fibre internet???? Theres always problems with this router. I upgraded to a 1gb fibre and I only get 160mbps. My setup is On my Huawei main router I get full 1gb speeds. I dmz the r2 to my main router. I enabled UPnP I even disabled all qos for testing on the r2 The device manager on the r2 picks up 1000 full duplex All Lan cables all pick up 1gb when I test it on the main router. The automatic speed test detects 150+- speeds and so does the benchmarks And yes they are all tested on Lan and wifi What else could be the problem. This is honestly frustrating
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 12, 2023 Administrators Share Posted October 12, 2023 Are ALL devices connected to the R2? Did you enter your new speeds into Bandwidth Settings?
Max2110
yes, all devices are connected to the r2 and I even tried manually setting the speeds to 1000/1000

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 12, 2023 Administrators Share Posted October 12, 2023 May be worth doing a factory reset so it sets up again with the new speeds, might be holding on to the slower speeds for some reason

Should the full duplex be 100mb?

Fuzy
Hi ! Can you show us a speedtest behind your ISP router and a speedtest behind the R2 in RJ45? For information... You will never obtain speeds of more than 250/300 Mbps in wifi behind the R2 in the best conditions! ... In addition, it may also be due to the limitation of your wifi card (PC/phone)... Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 19, 2023 Administrators Share Posted October 19, 2023 Are you getting better speeds via ethernet now? As above for the WiFi speeds
