qLofty Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Since switching to the router, DraftKings and Fanduel cannot verify my location when i sign into them from my computer which is hardwired into the router. But if i use my phone which is on WiFi, which is setup through Netgear AP, not through the router, the sites work. I've checked my router settings and don't see anything that could be blocking this. My location and everything is turned on in Windows 10 as well. Anyone else have this issue?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 10, 2023 Administrators Posted September 10, 2023 Sounds like the Adblocker, if you disable this do they load correctly?
qLofty Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 I have the adblocker disable already, still doesn't verify location
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 10, 2023 Administrators Posted September 10, 2023 Do you have your PC added to the Geo-Filter? If you disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control menu does it work then?
DARKNESS Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 @qLoftyYour probably using a vpn that would be the only case were location wouldn't be verifiable certain sites tracks such uses and therefore you must disable it temporally that if they originally knew your location to your account it somewhat like google they find it suspicious for obvious reasons.
qLofty Posted September 11, 2023 Author Posted September 11, 2023 QoS is disabled and I am not using a VPN. I go to google maps and when i use my location for directions or anything, shows my home location.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 11, 2023 Administrators Posted September 11, 2023 Have you tried the troubleshooting tips from Fanduel here: https://support.fanduel.com/s/article/Location-Troubleshooting-Tips and from Draftking here: https://help.draftkings.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403920029843#h_01FB10HGPQPTS6QFJQJ9F3WE16
qLofty Posted September 12, 2023 Author Posted September 12, 2023 Yes I have tried those, have RDP disabled as well. Going to switch to a different router as a test. Netduma Fraser 1
