SimMAUDeon
Logged in to do my weekly reboot and noticed that AdBlocker wasn't showing any activity. In fact it had done nothing Allow or Block for days! Rebooted and update the default list; disabled and re-enabled but no change. Ideas anyone? And...with all due respect...please, please, please do not suggest a factory reset and rebuild...'cause I've just recently tried that "recommendation" and after rebuilding my network of 48 IP reservations, the issue wasn't resolved. Also...that can't really be the preferred method when attempting to resolve issues that stymie the tech folks.
DARKNESS
@SSWaltersIIDo you have the ad block list? I would assume you do not if so add it manually since as of currently that the only method currently waiting for next firmware to see whether it included but as of now it not added automatically. There a link below which should show you how to set it up https://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000133055-using-adblocker-on-xr1000
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 4, 2023 Administrators Share Posted September 4, 2023 As above, is that the list you've added? Have you disabled QoS fully at all?

I rely on the "Default" list in AdBlocker...and QOS is always fully disabled. Cheers!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 4, 2023 Administrators Share Posted September 4, 2023 You don't need to keep updating that list, as it's located on our website, if we make a change you'll see that change. That's why it isn't working, QoS needs to be enabled for the Adblocker to work. Kris

Hmmm...so I rebooted the router and turned QoS ON Friday evening and as of tonight (Monday), AdBl,ocker reports all "0" (zero) activity...AND...no matter what I do, I can't access any of the RAPS -- perhaps coincidentally -- but definitely since I turned on QoS. They start loading and that first box pops up with the intro, and then it's the spinning death circle followed by this..:...even though the router's been on for hours since I rebooted it (again) this afternoon. Any ideas..? Cheers!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 14, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 14, 2023 Go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, close the interface, wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 16, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 16, 2023 There is a more up to date firmware so upgrade to that, close the tab, wait 4 minutes then see if it loads https://kb.netgear.com/000065541/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-
