Forced to use Fios quantum gateway for fios tv but wanna use the r2 along side it

how should i have it setup should i have the ethernet from the ONT plugged into the fios quantum gateway or the netduma r2?

ONT > Fios > R2, with the R2 WAN IP (found in the System Information page) in the DMZ of the Fios with all devices connected to the R2.

i never did the dmz thing before never knew that was a thing do u think that could be the cause of my inconsistent bullet reg?

Without it traffic could be impeded by the fios so could be a potential reason for that

i have this same setup, run rj45 from ont to duma, i dont run the frontier router at all its sitting in a box somewhere
