A little Help With Bandwidth and my Sky Glass

Hi All,

I am having trouble trying to get the settings correct for when our Sky Glass is streaming. I get a little lag when it streams and when it is off gaming on COD Is perfect.

Do I need to decrease or increase the Congestion Control?

I don't fully understand the best way to optimise it, any help would be great.

@alex.devineDepends how much bandwidth do you have? I would guess you don't have your console prioritized under traffic prioritization if so add the the rule as games console and it should be properly prioritized as therefore it should get priority over any device

Best way is to just experiment with it and see what percentage gives you the best experience, what do you have it set to currently?

Thank you so much for your replies and sorry for my delay, I have been away.

I have the PS5 prioritised and my bandwidth is as follows:

800MB down

100mb Upload

That all looks okay, start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.
