Hi there

I have now xr1000 and it was a very amazing experience, but sometimes I am very disappointed inside the game. Sometimes the opponent picks me up and I face lost shots and I was asking because of netduma put dumaOS. Do I buy R2 to have the preference over the enemy or is it a waste of money?

The direct question:

Is r2 better than xr1000 in the shots and facing the opponent?

who is have better hit detection

There not going to be a major difference I own both routers the only difference is probably packet transferring which means it able to handle data more efficiently plus has better wifi you have to have set qos properly for good hit detection but it never perfect the ideal buffer should be around 10-15ms under under load as it referred as buffer bloat

I don't necessarily agree with you, on the hardware part... there are big differences anyway!

It's unlikely that one or the other is going to give you a vastly different experience as they both use DumaOS. I would recommend going through our optimal settings guides which should help: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646

see some users praising r2 because it's fast updates and I also heard that it's better at hit det with smart Qos.

Regardless of the Wi-Fi feature, do you prefer r2, xr1000 in games using the connection cable?

this guy is just cappin. there are differences, such as buffer bloat & how it's handled and its simply more refined on the R2 due to the most recent update but doesn't have as powerful hardware like the xr1000. I would go with R2 assuming u don't have a lot of devices or a big house. there are more factors but good hardware like the xr1000 is useless without good software/Stable updates. both are good but stable software with not as powerful hardware is what you'll get with the R2. @ALL out

I own xr500 and just purchased the R2 as it stands the xr500 has given me the better experience but saying that the software on the R2 I'm using is in beta and I'm still tweaking.
