Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 3, 2023 Administrators Posted March 3, 2023 Welcome to the forum! What web browser are you using to access the interface? Are you using Armor by chance? If you click ok on the error can you continue to use the Geo-Filter? Bluegixer1 1
Bluegixer1 Posted March 3, 2023 Author Posted March 3, 2023 Hi , im using google chrome. when i click on the error it continuely reappears
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 3, 2023 Administrators Posted March 3, 2023 Double check Chrome isn't forcing a HTTPS connection to the interface, then force a connection using HTTP instead https://howchoo.com/chrome/stop-chrome-from-automatically-redirecting-https and see if that resolves it Bluegixer1 1
Bluegixer1 Posted March 3, 2023 Author Posted March 3, 2023 ive clicked on link, what am i doing once on that page
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 3, 2023 Administrators Posted March 3, 2023 So if you follow the guide to prevent the router interface 192.168.1.1 from using HTTPS that will get you sorted
Bluegixer1 Posted March 3, 2023 Author Posted March 3, 2023 £300 on a gaming router , i shouldn't be having to fiddle with a ton of settings to get it to work, what the hell
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 4, 2023 Administrators Posted March 4, 2023 I've written the steps for you here: Go to chrome://net-internals/#hsts in the web browser Enter 192.168.1.1 in the "Delete domain security policies" box & click delete Access the router interface: http://192.168.1.1 Does the Geo-Filter page then work? As you're having an issue it is a troubleshooting step and so not the norm, whether it is an issue with your browser or not I don't know yet. Are you using Armor? You should have seen this come up in the Setup Wizard, did you enable this?
Bluegixer1 Posted March 4, 2023 Author Posted March 4, 2023 did everything you have said and still geo and ping not working. netgear armor is disable

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 4, 2023 Administrators Posted March 4, 2023 Thanks for trying, go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.

LeGenD Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 1 hour ago, Bluegixer1 said: what Please turn off the xr1000 router and on the back it has a reset button, while the xr1000 router is off press that button for about 20 seconds while power on, but don't release the reset button, and the xr1000 router will reboot to default from factory and configure it again and see if the rapps work for you.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 5, 2023 Administrators Posted March 5, 2023 Could you try a different web browser and see if that works please, such as Firefox
Bluegixer1 Posted March 6, 2023 Author Posted March 6, 2023 all sorted, ended you resetting my modem and netgear and then re sync cloud
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 6, 2023 Administrators Posted March 6, 2023 Glad to hear you got it sorted, thanks for the update!
