Under the miscellaneous settings, there is a setting to "enable multicast snooping." What does this do exactly? If I turn it off will my networks speeds be lowered or increased? Does this setting make a difference when playing something like Advanced Warfare on my Xbox One? Please help!

Well some time ago i have asked this same question.

This is basicly the feature for people having media centers and should be use when you have problem when devices are not communicating with each other.

No it has absolutely no inpact on you gaming

I live it off. You will only need it on if you had some problems with media centere etc. So if you dont live it unticked.

So it is better to leave it on or off?

In the settings section, if you don't know what it does (or aren't having trouble with it) it's best to leave it as default. That way you don't get any nasty surprises if you disable something :)
