topsixrows
This has been an issue for awhile. This seems like it is a huge hinderance. Is there any fix? UPnP shows Teredo 192.168.77.163 Also, is port forwarding better than DMZ
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 18, 2023 Administrators Share Posted February 18, 2023 In Settings, disable IPv6 for LAN but leave it enabled for WAN and then reboot the console and see if you get IPv6 then. Security wise yes it would be better than using the DMZ but if you have an Open NAT already there is no need to use it.
K0NSPIRACY
This has never worked for me for IPv6 on XSX. With regards to DMZ vs port forwarding, I have my R2 IP in the DMZ on my BT router and my XSX IP in the DMZ on the R2 as previously advised to do so. Is that the best way of doing things or is there another port forwarding method that I should be using?

If you have an Open NAT without using the DMZ then it's unnecessary to do any port forwarding or use the DMZ. Port Forwarding is more specific and DMZ is more open basically but they would both work it just depends how you want to do it.
