Hey Everyone. My local network is 172.168.1.1 with a mask of 255.255.255.0. I have used this network forever. Just received the NetDuma R2 and it throws this error. Any ideas?

Tim

I have been able to reproduce this, I think what has happened is that IP address is an IP address for a Microsoft server so I believe it is detecting that it's a public IP address rather than also a private IP address if you see what I mean. I can pass it onto the team but for the moment you would need to use a different LAN IP.

Ok. My whole network is based around this. Poo.

As it is essential for you, I'll speak to the team and see if we're able to manually fix this for you in the backend (if it's an easy fix) on Monday

Apologies for not getting back to you, we've created a ticket for the team to replicate the issue in our test network and gather as much information on the issue as they can. We'll then give this to developers and see how simple of a fix it is. If it's straight forward I'll try get a dev to apply it to your router directly, if not it may need to come in the form of a firmware update.

Ok Look forward to it. I am replacing my XR1000 for this netduma r2

the XR1000 doesnt have an issue with this...

The XR1000 uses the Netgear settings and the R2 uses our own settings and as such it doesn't have as many settings to change, I think you may be the second person to ever ask for this.
