Does Netduma R2 support NAT loopback?

Hi all,

First time here, nice to meet you.

I want to purchase a Netduma R2, however, I have one specific requirement:

- Does it support NAT loopback?

I have a Synology NAS with my applications hosted onto it, and currently, my current Virgin Media router doesn't support NAT loopback, so I can't access my WAN addresses on the local network. I have to use my phone (using 4g) to access the sites. This is problematic, because I have services that I want to access locally.

I hope you can help me make my purchasing decision.

Thank you.

You can access this via LAN IP, but remembering ports and IP's is highly inconvenient. Netgear Nighthawk, Synology Routers all support NAT loopback. But the "gaming" features offered by the Netduma would be helpful - two birds with one stone.

Are you able to test NAT loopback and confirm? Cause sometimes it is enabled by default.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

The R2 is purely our own software so I would be surprised if it worked - in the past someone tested it with the R1 which had the same software and it didn't work but we can add it to our list to potentially implement in the future.
