DNS Via Router or PS5?

So I have an expressvpn setup on my router and assigned to my PS5, what I want to know is, will my PS5 use this DNS OR the one it currently shows in my connection status?

The PS5 should use whichever DNS is currently configured on the R2, whether that be the upstream DNS (your modem) or whatever DNS you have configured on the R2.

Are you having any particular issues? If so, let us know and we can assist in troubleshooting them.

I just removed any DNS from my PS5 and my connection went straight back up. I had my PS5 setup on the DNS on my router BUT when doing a connection test, my PS5 showed a DNS from the router itself, will these conflict?

It would be better to set it on the router rather than the device itself as it could potentially cause a conflict
