loop router search lobby

good evening guys! can someone kindly explain to me why every day I have to restart the router to solve this problem? after a few hours of operation if I quit the game and come back it starts looking for lobbies with high ping. Restarting the router will set itself up. I also tried a reset but didn't fix anything. It almost seems that when logging in, the router '' authenticates '' to the farthest server. Game with geo filter active throughout Europe, I live in Italy.

Stai modificando le impostazioni del filtro geografico mentre sei in gioco o quando torni per caso?

no never .. I'll give you an example .. last night I had this problem, the shots did not enter, I had small lag .. I restarted the router all ok for the two hours I played. Today I turn on the pc I start the game and the first search starts with a ping lower than 80 .. bad game, the shots did not enter, I was clearly late in the game. I restart the netduma and everything is fine

Just to clarify, the ping doesn't change but the feeling in game does change, then you restart the router, the ping is the same but the feeling is better?

no, after restarting the router I find games with Ping less than 17 and the game is pretty fluid

Could you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please? Preferably showing when you're getting one of those higher ping servers and a lower ping server please.

I tried.  when i have Ping less than 90 from geo filter i only see server in america, for all following games until i reboot.  when the router is restarted, however, when looking for games with Ping Less than 17 I see servers inside the geo filter.

I'm not home now, but I still have two photos.  where you see only the American server is looking for with Ping less than 90, in the other when it finds with Ping less than 17.

now the geofilter has 900 km radius and 40 Ping assist

Try this:

  1. Quit the application/game/client completely
  2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
  3. Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager
  4. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
  5. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option
  6. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like but set Ping Assist to 0
  7. Wait 2 minutes
  8. Boot up application/game/client

Then see if it works better please.

I already have these settings except the Ping assist which is set to 35. you say that putting to 0 I solve?  it seems to me that the geofilter after a few hours of inactivity sends something in the network into conflict sending me the ping overseas for no reason

The PC isn't set to a PlayStation, if it did then it would add with the Games Console service which would be better and yes Ping Assist 0 will help. It's important to do the process above as it will help.

You are Super Fraser!!! Everything works great again!
