Xr1000 geo-filter not working

Hello,

I have been using the Geo-Filter with my PS5 when playing COD/warzone and always worked ok. Now, when I try to use Geo-filter with my Pc it doesn't work. I have tried:

-Removed my PS5 from Geo-filter

-Using my PC as PS5 - Device Type under Device manager.

-Disconnected PS5 from network cable ( console OFF)

-Resync cloud and added PC in Geo-Filter as "Recommend a mode for my game" or "Choose manually"

- waited 2 minutes and lunched game

Nothing has changed the way Geo-filter behaves when using my PC - I don't even see the server or Player Icon anymore when I find a match.

Any suggestions?

Double check the IP for the PC on the Device Manager is the same as the IP that is shown on the PC itself as it may have been changed. Also what web browser are you using to access the interface and are you forcing a connection using HTTPS to the interface?

Yes, it is the same Ip address, i just have my PS5 and Pc connected via ethernet cable.

I use Chrome but also tried on Edge and I'm not forcing using HTTPS.

Are you seeing any icons at all when you boot up the game? You should see a spread of servers across the map.

If not, does you PC have a Wi-Fi adapter? If so, can you make sure that's disabled then reboot the game and try again?

Hello,

No, I don't see any icons for servers or player. I don't use or ever used WIFI on my PC, it has been disable since I built my pc.

Not sure if it is related, but I recently updated the firmware on my router but I can't say if this is the problem since was on the same week I built my new pc.

I'm currently on Version: 1.0.0.64 and GUI Language Version: V1.0.0.46_2.1.46.1 and I have updated using the usb and had performed a factory reset after the update.

On the Pc side, I don't use VPN and I'm using windows 11

I was reading about this issue on the forum and I noticed your guys recommend to setup the PC as PlayStation device and on Geo-filter to setup manually and profiles to choose the game I want to filter.  What is the difference for COD and COD (PC ONLY)? If I'm using a PC, why I should setup as PlayStation or Console type?  If I choose to setup as PC only and COD PC ONLY on Geo-filter, should it work?

Sorry about the questions, but sometimes seems confusing the way the options are implemented on Netduma hardware and the way we should use.

Tks

Generally speaking, the most reliable approach is to set the PC device type to Playstation and select 'Choose manually' when adding it to Geo-filter.

However, if that's not working, you could try setting it's device type back and then select the CoD profile (Try both standard and PC), then see if you're able to see anything in the Geo-filter map when you boot the game.

Yeah, tks but I have tried both and geo filter still doesn't work. I guess the only option would be a factor reset again?

I think it may be worth trying it yes, it doesn't quite make sense why you're not able to see anything on the Geo-filter map.
