You may need to clear your browser's cache, then refresh the page and see if you can get to the interface properly.

If not, could you please try rebooting the router, then see if you can access the interface?

i rebooted and it came back. Did this happen because i changed the ethernet settings

Where did you change these settings? On the R2 or on your PC? It could well of caused the confusion, yes.

yes on my pc i disabled some power saving settings
