michael_lamb
The router loses internet connectivity and it has become a daily issue. The router doesn't get internet access back until after I reboot it. I updated the firmware a few weeks ago thinking that would help solve the issue but the issue still occurs. I tried adjusting some settings here and there, but up to this point nothing seems to be working. I downloaded the log file from today when I lost internet connection before I rebooted the router. Hopefully there is something useful in there. log-1658335408537.txt
Netduma Liam
Welcome to the forum! Which firmware version are you currently using exactly? After updating the firmware, did you factory reset the R2? If not, could you please do this by holding the reset pin on the back of the R2 for thirty seconds. What is the make and model of the modem that the R2 connects to? michael_lamb
The firmware version is 3.2.453 and it is connected to a Netgear c6300 AC1750 WiFi cable modem. I didn't factory reset the router after updating but I will do that when I get home.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21, 2022 Administrators Share Posted July 21, 2022 It's always recommended to factory reset after the updates as it helps clear out remnants from the previous version, keep us posted!
