TheJam Posted July 19, 2022 Share Posted July 19, 2022 Hi, I wasn't sure where to ask this. I have an XR1000 as my main router with an Orbi mesh connected using AP mode. I want to give Guest Network access using the Orbi, however, the 'Allow guests to see each other and access my local network' option is enabled but also greyed out. It seems like the Guest Network still gives access to other devices (seems like that defeats the purpose of a Guest Network?) - is there anything I can do on the XR1000 to stop devices on my AP in a Guest Network from accessing my devices? I read online about having to set up a VLAN but I don't think this is possible on the XR1000. Cheers, Jam Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 19, 2022 Administrators Share Posted July 19, 2022 No real way to do that other than VLAN, there are VLAN options but you would have to apply it to the Orbi as a whole, you wouldn't be able to specify guest devices. Otherwise you'd have to disable AP mode so the local option becomes changeable Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
