so this is gonna be a long read so  im sorry  for  anyone who  is helping me  in advance  but i want  to give as much info as i can.  i  play mostly valorant  and iv been getting some  packet  loss and some sturrers here and there. here is a  list of  what i have and details  of each

my ISP is  comcast/xfinity
the  model number  is CGM4331COM i have it set to bridge  mode and  have done no other settings  to it. my  speeds are 1200 download and 40 upload but  when i do a speed test  i get  about 900 download  and 40  upload
then i have the  R2  router updated  to  3.0.394 and its connected to my comcast  modem and my gaming pc is also connected to  it by wired. i disabled the wifi on  it i dont use it at all
i also  have a Asus GT-AX11000 connected to the R2 Router for  wifi for all my other devices and i have about 4 more asus routers connected to  the GT-AX11000 as a mesh to get more covrage around the house. my house  has 3 floors and i have  about 30 devices  connected to my wifi some are hard wired to  my asus router like my streaming devices  for tv i have a bunch of phones connected, tablets  streaming tv boxs , 3 Blink Home Security Cameras few laptops  one of them are my  gaming  laptops all of  this is connected to my asus routers other  thern  my  desktop gaming  pc that is  connected to  the R2 router i have 8 ppl that live  in my house so everyone is using somthing all the  time lol im trying to get the best experience on my gaming desktop. all my routers are set to defualt so im  trying to figure  out  what i should do to get the best result for playing valorant.

my gaming desktop is a i9 9900KS 64gigs ram @3200MHz rtx 2080ti  i  also have a streaming pc desktop that i havent connected to any of my routers yet but  in  the near  future i  will.

im not  great at opening ports iv always used portforward.com  to  open them  but i cant find the R2 router with in the App

Hey, welcome to the forum!

First of all, with so many devices and people in your household even with your high speeds I suspect there may be some local congestion there - each person has about 110Mbps to play with and if any one of them tries to do a download that will saturate the entire connection. What QoS settings are you using currently?

I would advise you not to port forward, it's not really necessary as you will have an Open NAT on your PC through the R2 just using UPnP. The Asus behind the R2 could be put into AP mode, that would allow you to control devices on an individual basis better.

Put the Download for Congestion Control to 70%, I would suggest using Always as well and you can delete the Valorant rule as that doesn't appear to be prioritizing, then see if it is any better.

If you are using Settings that you'd like to continue using on the Asus then don't put it in AP mode - QoS on the R2 will still be effective.

Not for the moment, I want to see how it responds to these changes, I suspect it was mostly down to the fact that QoS basically wasn't enabled for download at all and that is what the majority of the household would be using.

5 packets or 5% of packets? Did you notice any issues in games? If you only lost 5 packets I doubt you'd notice anything.

lost 5 packets played a bit  more  and  the  highest  i lost was 17 packets i  noticed a stutter  i also get a grade B  test in bufferbloat

Is that where you're seeing the packet loss as well? If so, Traffic Prioritization can impact those tests, better to use Connection Benchmark and adjust QoS to get the Ping Under Load graph as close to the Ping Test graph as possible.

Don't do Auto, use Always and lower the percentages, do a test, changes percentages, do a test etc until you get the Ping Under Load graph looking like the Ping Test graph/as flat as possible
