Bad hitreg on certain Servers

So first of all I live in Central Europe and I have the same ping to all EU Servers that are active - my closest would be France but this server has horrible hitreg 

i changed to Netherlands and the game runs extremely smooth

so Anybody has an idea why this server runs so horrible for me?

maybe my firewall settings block it for me?

Most likely to do with the routing from your ISP to the game servers, in which case there isn't much you can do. Could also be down to the time of day you're trying to play on the French server or it could be a very popular server in general in which case it would likely be under load frequently, there are quite a lot of variables but if you're having a great connection to a particular server its very unlikely anything on your side causing it.

It’s weird bc I have a slightly better ping about 5 ms - but the difference is night and day 

it feels like it take twice as long to kill somebody 

the Geo could not cause the problem?

The server may be very popular and under load, or as Fraser mentions it's maybe the routing through your ISP to that particular game server.

It shouldn't be an issue with Geo-filter otherwise game play on the other servers would also feel bad.
