When is the next update coming twitter has said we are getting ping optimizer on mobile and tilt detector. Not trying to be a a** but that was MONTHS ago. Any idea when all these NEW things are coming to dumaos ? Also the mobile app is not good at all if we cant get the things showed months ago what about a revamped mobile app. It feels like a app on the 1st iphone and is un-pleasurable . I once again am not being a a** just asking questions. Also iPhone's that connect to router wifi  make r2 duma crash if they aren't on it then suddenly turn wifi on.

We don't provide any ETAs as it is always subject to change but you can check the status of firmware on this newly created page (updated weekly) to get an idea of the stage we are at http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000132677-dumaos-firmware-progress

Tilt detector was an April Fools joke and will not be a feature coming to DumaOS.

The app is in Alpha currently hence it does not have all available features etc, we will be integrating the design you saw on the video into the app.

Could you clarify the issue you're having with the iPhone and WiFi please?

I understood the joke I was like ain't no shot my router gonna tell me to take a break. Lol.  My main thing was ping optimizer coming soon yet it's been almost 5-6 months. Why not wait until closer to time to make videos and post about it. I get teasing things but after half a year it seems it was an idea that took off but never actually came.

I hear the app is in alpha but how long can that be an excuse? Honestly asking not trying to be rude. You have always been a stand up guy and have nothing but respect for you. It's just wild you'll show it and then silence for months.

Anytime a iPhone connects to my wifi internet goes out. Wife comes home as soon as she hits drive way internet out and won't come back until she turns hers off.

The firmware is in closed beta testing, we've been going back and forth with our beta testers finding and fixing bugs. We're getting closer and closer so hopefully it's not too long before we can release it.

The app being in Alpha is not an excuse, it's not what's preventing the release of new firmware. Once the new firmware is released, you'll be able to use the new mobile view in your browser. We'll then be implementing this experience into the app.

Could you please go to the Wi-Fi settings on any iPhones in the house, click the (i) icon next to the network and disable private addresses? That could be causing the issue.

The app being in alpha was me referring to how long has the app been in alpha? Over a year at least maybe longer. The mobile app is 2 out of 10 stars. It looks and feels like the regular 1st iPhone apps. Again not trying to be rude I swear. For almost 200 dollars a router you'd think it and all it's features would be TOP notch.

As you know, we've always recommended accessing and interacting with the interface via a PC, with so many options it's a lot easier that way. We did listen to the community though who wanted a more mobile friendly solution so we did do that but we only had one developer dedicated to this at the time. The Alpha app served the purpose of allowing people to interact with the main features via mobile, now we have grown more we're able to put more resources into this and so with the new redesign/framework we can take that to the next level, even totally redesigning some features specifically for mobile.

From the next R2 version onwards you will be able to play with the new mobile view and we hope that gives you more of that top notch feeling.
