Ben C
Hey guys, I currently have an XR500 which is connected into a DSL modem provided by my ISP. The service in my area is fibre to a node, and then the old DSL copper lines into the building (you get about 80 down, 20 up). I've been carrying along an old ISP DSL modem/router to use with new providers, however it seems to be broken & in need of replacement. I was curious if there are any recommendations for DSL modems or modem/routers which are good to use with an XR500?

Mobel
@Ben C I use Tp-link td-w9770 v3 very good just make sure u get the version 3 or 2 NOT the v4 that one has a Econet chipset, V3 and v2 has a Broadcom chip, it supports Vdsl2 till 100mbps down/upstream. From your speed 80/20 I suggest u have vvdsl (vectoring vdsl) or vdsl2. U set it up put in your Vlan id, Dynamic ip (ipoe) or whatever ur provider (maybe your provider is in the dropdown list) has for connection, Bridge mode dont forgot to turn dhcp off as last step, disable Wi-fi as well and in dsl settings check Enable Bit Swap and check SRA that made my connection much faster and stable. Works with my R2 and XR700.
