xiiMaGzx
Keep getting packet loss every so often and I have no idea why. Its been happening a lot on discord and I cant find out if its happening in the game or if its discords servers, I doubt its the servers tho since im the only one in discord with bad packet loss each time so i think it has to be on my end. I have to pcs one for game and one for discord so I have no idea if my game pc gets any packet loss is there a way to test it when it happens? because if its not happening on my gaming pc that will let us know that its not the router and has something to do with my discord pc. That's odd, are both PCs connected to the R2 in the same way? Via wired or wireless? You would certainly notice packet loss in-game if your gaming PC is experiencing it. How do you currently have QoS configured?

I have not been playing online games tho thats why i cant tell if both pcs have the same problem. Was wondering if the router can report it having packet loss more maybe i can run something on my gaming pc when my discord pc has packet loss to see if its both pcs. Also yeah both on on qos 120/20 for lowest ping but if i turn it off its 800/50 which also has the packet loss.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 4, 2022 Administrators Share Posted March 4, 2022 Are ALL devices connected to the R2? Are you using the Discord application or the website as it would be better to use the application. Can you provide a completed Connection Benchmark test please? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 4, 2022 Administrators Share Posted March 4, 2022 Okay so there is no indication of packet loss from the router so it could be the specific ethernet cable connecting the PC to the router, do you have another you can try with?
