Geofilter broken in XR1000....help

i reset my XR1000....but geofilter not work ........help please

Could you expand a bit more on the issue please? E.g. what game are you playing, where you're located, where the servers are you're trying to force, no icons appearing, games outside radius etc.

geofilter does not load, yet I did 2 resets, waited 2 minutes, I have the correct firmware version, I am on google chrome and firefox

So it says Rapp not loaded? When did this happen, after changing settings or upgrading etc? Can you provide a full screenshot of the page and browser showing what you're seeing please as we may be able to spot something

Could you please explain exactly how you reset the XR? Could you clarify whether you're factory resetting the router, or just rebooting it?

Did you use the button on the back, or did you do it from the network settings? If you used the button on the back, did you hold it down for at least thirty seconds?

I held the back button for 20 seconds and not 30, do you think that could be the reason?
I reset the modem by pressing the button behind but I also did a factory reset via the software, nothing worked, the rest works fine except geofiltre and pingmap

Did you have to do the initial setup again after resetting the router? If not, then you didn't hold the reset pin for long enough and the router would've only rebooted.

If that's the case I'd suggest doing the reset again as that should resolve your issue.

After resetting the XR1000, could you please go to System Information -> Installed Rapps -> Click the three-line menu in the top left and set the number of retries to 5.

Could you also please confirm for me which web browser you're using?

on the other hand, if I do a factory reset, I always have the latest firmware version displayed, shouldn't there be a firmware update or is the latest version automatically installed on the XR1000?

You're running the latest firmware version, that's correct.

I think what you'll need to do now is TFTP the latest firmware to the XR1000 using the below guide. That's the closest we can get to a fresh flash.

I'm not entirely sure, but you may be able to do it over wireless. You'd just need to follow the below guide and set the static IP for the wireless adapter.

I just made it on a pc

but in control it does not recognize tftp - i

tftp-i is not recognized as an internal or external command, executable program or command file....

You need to follow the guide at the bottom of the link to enable TFTP for your PC

So the TFTP command went through successfully uploading the firmware to the router and then you did a factory reset after?

it says: connection request failed...
However the router is well connected to the PC...
ftfp recognized..

Are you entering the command when the router is powering on as per the guide?

Downgrade the firmware normally please to .52, then factory reset and see if it behaves normally
