Error when logging into netgear nighthawk xr1000

I login to my router to look at the settings and all i get is an error using windows 10

haserl CGI Error

Failed to readline from 'config get DumaOS_Theme_Version'

also my dumaOS app on my iphone when logging into it just says the server can't be reached.

Sorry to hear this, are you getting this error across all browsers? 

If you reboot the XR1000 are you then able to access the interface normally again?

No not with a reboot. I had to do a master reset and I have a lot of smart home products so this is about a 2 hour process even when keeping the same ssid it makes me re-enter the passwords.

Also can we please stop with the stock reply of rebooting. Why must we assume everybody is an idiot? Reboot? Man I didn’t think of that? 😭

We tailor our advice based on the information we are given, this error is usually resolved with a reboot so as you didn't mention if you tried that then that was be our first suggestion as it's most likely to resolve it.
