Killjoy Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 OK so just figured out that when I put geo filter on the dumaOS discord does not connect... is there a way to have geo filter on and connect to discord without issues
Netduma Liam Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 Yes, watch the Geo-filter map when you join a Discord server, you should see a 'blocked' icon appear. Click on that icon and allow it from the panel that appears.
Killjoy Posted January 15, 2022 Author Posted January 15, 2022 I tried doing that but when I join nothing shows on the geo filter map... on the bottom right hand side shows some information on a peer and gives the option of allow or deny.. I clicked allow but nothing happened its like it didn't register
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 15, 2022 Administrators Posted January 15, 2022 You may need to do it a few times as they have a few servers, make sure you're zoomed out of the map fully as well as they may not appear where you expect.
II NaStY III Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 What causes this because I didn’t have to do any of this. My discord connected automatically after installing my XR 1000. But my buddy said he had to accept “player” to be able to connect to discord.

Geo-filter can sometimes mistake this connection to be a game server and blocks it, so you need to manually allow the server as your friend mentions.
