Hi,

I recently got the NetdumaR2 and have set it up correctly following the user guide however I am having a problem with all my wireless devices, iPhone, Tablet, Smart TV. The problem is every so often at random times the internet just stops however the connection bar is still on full bars. After switching off then back on the WiFi from the device the connection is perfect again for another 20 minutes or so. I can’t figure it out I have updated the os and reset factory both routers a few times hoping for a fix.

Also to add I have my PC, PS5, connected to the NetdumaR2 via wired Ethernet and they do not drop connection at anytime.

ISP : TalkTalk

any help is appreciated thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

Could you please try going to Network Settings -> LAN -> DHCP and reserve IP addresses for each of the devices that continually disconnect.

After this, monitor to see if they continue to disconnect and if the time span is the same.

Let me know how you get on.

Hi thanks for the reply,

What IP address do I type in after I tick the reserve box?

thanks.

It doesn't matter too much but I would suggest giving it the IP it already has for ease, otherwise you'll need to reboot the device/router for it to get the new IP.
