CypherzINF
Hi Netduma, I'm currently running PPPoE with the R1 running DumaOS on a 900 down and 400 up connection I can achieve these speeds on my isp router!! any idea what might be causing the issue. Bert
PPPoE doesn't work properly on R1. You need to use it behind your ISP router, then set it in DMZ on your ISP's router. Then you will still be limited to about 300mbit with QoS or 600-700 without QoS. R1 is not suited for gigabit connections.

Bert
R2, XR500 or XR1000 will do 1Gbit. Just depends on which features you want. You can run the R1 for now with QoS switched off as the router is limiting you, no point in running QoS. Then at least you have geofiltering ability. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 21, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 21, 2021 Good advice from Bert, to run as fast as possible having another router handling PPPoE and disabling QoS on the R1 will do that
