Rylo
I have the R2 and my new modem can do wifi 6, I was wondering if I enable 160mhz channel width could that cause problems with the R2 connection or anything like that or would it make it better? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 9, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 9, 2021 That would be completely independent of the R2 and the width wouldn't cause an issue with the R2 WiFi if you did choose to keep it enabled Rylo
Newfie
Just a heads up but 160Mhz needs clients to be compatible so unless they are you will see no benefit plus it tends to use DFS for 160Mhz so it’s worth thinking about interference across the spectrum if you have other neighbouring APs.
