Critical error

Hi my computer I use for work simply will not connect to my wifi, and my other devices are struggling in comparison to normal. When I go on to my duma settings page I click QoS and it tells me I have a critical error that I have been unable to get rid of. It says something like UHBD4 or something I can’t connect back to my settings page right now. Below is the exported error code. I’m really not sure what to do anymore I have to reset the router daily at this point and I cannot understand why.

Cant provide screenshot but the error says "ERROR_UBUS      Ubus error:4"

I’ve always had issues with it but I  portforwarded like 2-3 months ago and everything was usable back then. I disabled QoS a month ago. This issue is from the last day or two.

No changes to settings within last 2 weeks. Multiple reboots have not solved the problem unfortunately.

Ok so I factory reset it on the Tuesday and have not touched any settings except changing the password. Now every 15-45mins it drops out completely. Most devices say something about DNS not responding. This is definitely worse than it was before. What should I do now?

On what device are you accessing the DumaOS interface? Are you using a web browser or are you using the App?

When the disconnection occurs, are you able to connect to the interface still? Do you have to reboot the router to recover it or does the connection eventually recover itself?

I get the UBUS error when I access the interface through the iOS app. Yes I can still connect to the interface when the disconnection occurs but I do have to reboot the router in order to get my internet connection back however last night I rebooted several times and I could not reconnect to the internet at all for the night.

OK, could you please confirm which firmware version you're running? If you haven't already I'd suggest upgrading to the latest firmware version, you can find it here:

Ok so updated it when you replied. It’s been better but still getting random disconnects that last 15-30 mins quite often with no fix. Consoles are saying DNS errors.

Did you factory reset after? If you didn’t please do so, if you did please do another as users have reported doing it twice got rid of issues.

Ok factory reset a further two times and now I’m having to restart the router every morning and still get regular drops on connectivity for no reason. Today however I could not access DumaOS on my phone using the app or typing in the ip online.

What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to?

Do you have it in modem mode? If so I'd recommend putting it in router mode with the R2 in its DMZ. I had the same hub and found modem mode to be a bit flaky but router mode was more stable.

Sorry for all the hassle, it appears to be an issue on VM side which they told me it was on my end so many times. I have one of their engineers coming out soon to remedy the problem then I have no doubt the netduma will work as intended.
