Wayland3r__ Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Hi, Netduma randomly disconnected from the Internet and now won't reconnect, tried everything I've read on forums, resetting, power down, different Internet, nothing. Unsure what to do??.

What is the modem/router the R2 is connected to? Can't get on to the interface and it's connected to a bt smart hub, it's been fine for about 7 months which is how long I've had it

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 28, 2021 Administrators Posted October 28, 2021 Set a static IP on the PC itself that is connected via ethernet to the router using this information and this guide (control panel) https://pureinfotech.com/set-static-ip-address-windows-10/ IP 192.168.77.100 Subnet 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.77.1 DNS 192.168.77.1 then see if you can access using http://192.168.77.1

Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, wait 2 minutes then check again - then if it's still not working hold the reset button for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes then try again

Is it possible it's a faulty router? I've seen a few people have this issue
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 2, 2021 Administrators Posted November 2, 2021 Could you unplug the modem from the R2 so just the power and ethernet to PC please and try to access again. If that doesn't work disable the static IP you set and do another ipconfig please.
