Do you still have access to the interface? Does it show a WAN IP on the System Information page? What is the modem/router the R2 is connected to?

Can't get on to the interface and it's connected to a bt smart hub, it's been fine for about 7 months which is how long I've had it

Set a static IP on the PC itself that is connected via ethernet to the router using this information and this guide (control panel) https://pureinfotech.com/set-static-ip-address-windows-10/

IP 192.168.77.100
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.77.1
DNS 192.168.77.1

then see if you can access using http://192.168.77.1

No worries, thanks for trying! Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, wait 2 minutes then check again - then if it's still not working hold the reset button for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes then try again

Done all that, still nothing? Is it possible it's a faulty router? I've seen a few people have this issue

Could you unplug the modem from the R2 so just the power and ethernet to PC please and try to access again. If that doesn't work disable the static IP you set and do another ipconfig please.

Yeah still nothing, got to be a defective part right
