anonymous_g-_-
The r2 keeps disconnecting me from the internet then I have to reset the router everytime. I have to keep reverting back to connecting to my sky router
Netduma Liam
Welcome to the forum! Could you please confirm the firmware version you're currently running? How is the console connected to the R2, via wired or wireless?
anonymous_g-_-
Hi Liam, where would I find the firmware version? Funnily enough I regained internet just by unplugging/plugging. How do I keep it connected though? I have my console connected via wired

I have my console connected via wired The firmware version will be listed in the top right corner of the DumaOS interface. You can connect to this by opening a web browser and going to 192.168.77.1. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 2, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 2, 2021 Yes that's right thanks! Is it every device that disconnects or just the console specifically?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 2, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 2, 2021 Do you still have access to the interface when you get a disconnection? Give the R2 a static/reserved IP on the Sky Hub, just the IP the hub has given it make that static
anonymous_g-_-
No I can’t access the interface when disconnected. So I’ve got to go on the sky hub interface and change something?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 2, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 2, 2021 You're adding something really but yes and I think that may help. Factory reset the R2 first so you can get access to it again, once setup then go onto the Sky hub and set the IP
anonymous_g-_-
Right I’m on the sky hub. What do I do now to set the ip to static?

I believe it's in Advanced -> LAN IP Setup. Once you've reserved the IP, be sure to reboot the R2.

anonymous_g-_-
Attach dumaos device? Or reserve an IP address (netduma)
anonymous_g-_-
What do I do now? Is it just the dumaos one?
Netduma Liam
The address you'll want to reserve for the R2 will be 192.168.0.8, as this is the WAN IP it's given by the Sky Hub.
anonymous_g-_-
Correct?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 6, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 6, 2021 Yes that's great, now reboot the R2 from the interface, wait 2 minutes before accessing/connecting and see if that helps reduce the issue from occurring.
