Any VPN you use will add additional latency and is not advised for gaming unless necessary. You'll need a VPN provider that supports OpenVPN and can provide you with OpenVPN configuration files.

It really depends what VPN server you're connecting to, if it is a server within your country then it won't be too bad - if you connect to a far away country it will be a lot worse
