Osvaldo Sousa Posted June 9, 2021 Posted June 9, 2021 Hi, when updating firmware to duma 3.0 beta (i did reset) i can't reach gigabit speed, but on firmware v1.0.1.38 i can, and also on this version after starting a game after a while the router stops prioritizing while on 3.0 beta doesnt stop
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 9, 2021 Administrators Posted June 9, 2021 Is this with the exact same settings, nothing else changed, one firmware you can get those speeds, the other you can't? Where and how are you testing the speeds? What are your Traffic Prio settings?
Osvaldo Sousa Posted June 9, 2021 Author Posted June 9, 2021 Yes exact same settings, yes with 3.0 beta i cant reach gigabit, i tested with speedtest, nperf, waveform, i think i just leave it at default
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 9, 2021 Administrators Posted June 9, 2021 Interesting, is this over ethernet? What is the modem the XR is connected to?
Osvaldo Sousa Posted June 9, 2021 Author Posted June 9, 2021 Yes, using cable, it is a ont plus router combo from MEO, it is meo fibergataway
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 9, 2021 Administrators Posted June 9, 2021 Are ALL devices connected to the XR? Are you able to put the gateway in modem/bridge mode?
Osvaldo Sousa Posted June 10, 2021 Author Posted June 10, 2021 Yes including iptv, i enabled imgp proxying, the fibergataway is in bridge mode with wifi disabled

What speeds are you reaching on the new firmware?
Osvaldo Sousa Posted June 10, 2021 Author Posted June 10, 2021 yes igmp proxying enabled on both firmwares , i think i had beetween 500 and 600 max on duma 3.0 beta and 936 on 1.38

Osvaldo Sousa Posted June 12, 2021 Author Posted June 12, 2021 I have fiber connection, i just have to put the ont/router in bridge mode
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 12, 2021 Administrators Posted June 12, 2021 Could you go back to .38 and see whether your higher speeds return just to double check?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 12, 2021 Administrators Posted June 12, 2021 And you're seeing those higher speeds now? I'll get the team to try and reproduce the issue on the beta.
Osvaldo Sousa Posted June 12, 2021 Author Posted June 12, 2021 Thank you for your support, i will check one more time by going again to 3.0 beta

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 17, 2021 Administrators Posted June 17, 2021 Thanks, the team has been able to reproduce it so we'll take a look at why that is happening and get it sorted
