i have XR500 for 3 years and i didnt get a single update ???

There’s a beta for 3.0 that available and has had several updates.

it’s an open beta so free to use, have a read through the posts then if you wish to try go ahead and install.

As above we've been working on a beta that you can use. Also the router updates itself automatically so you may not have realized that there were updates but there has been updates since launch, they're listed here: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/XR500.aspx#download
