Router not performing well

getting really fed up now, seems this R2 is a really cheap made router with a good OS on it.

Tired on "LAN CABLE DISCONNECTED" THEN "lan cable reconnected" .. changed ports, have multiple PS5's running.

The WIFI is the worst ive seen for a router.

Ive ordered the nighthawk now with DUMAOS , how can i return this R2?

That issue is not usually down to the router at all, have you tried different ethernet cables? Have you also checked the PS5 port itself to see whether it is damaged?

We're working on improving the WiFi currently, setting the antennae to look like this helps _ | | _, if you disable Mirror Mode and use a WiFi Analyzer to find the best channels and experiment with the widths you can improve it as well.

You can see our returns policy here: netduma.com/terms

My BT router never drops on wifi for months, ever since i got this netduma R2 it happens constantly.

It happens on both PS5's, and they have never been touched since they have been setup, not the PS5's as i unplugged the R2 and went back to the BTHUB until my nighthawk arrives and never dropped at all.

The LAN cables are both CAT6, excellent quality, paid alot of money for them and they are fine too.

Did you try giving the PS5s reserved IP addresses from the R2 in case this was a DHCP issue?

Hi, i just bought the NightHawk XR1000 Gaming Router

The speeds im getting now have doubled.

Im not longer getting cut off and the game play is 100% stable, so its something to do with the R2.

On a side note, there is way more options now on this new router, its incredible i have to say, and with having the DUMAOS, its just amazing.

Ill be returning the R2, but im defiantly staying with DUMAOS, thats for sure.

Just to help someone out, if they have issues and have BT HUB, simply, make go to settings > setup and click pppoe

Then for username: [email protected]

password: bt

and apply.

Now you get plug the LAN cable coming from your BT MODEN (white block on the wall) directly into the INTERNET port on your Nighthawk XR1000 Gaming Router.

You can now discard your BT hub/router.

You are now NAT2 OPEN on all games with the best possible speeds your line can produce. (LAN enabled)

Im using CAT 6 for all my cables btw, just as a side note.

Hope this helps someone
