2 or 3 settings for QOS

Recommended Posts

How can you make 2 or 3 settings to leave saved?
Ex. When my XBOX is on and I'm playing I would like
it to be QOS 100% on XBOX.
When my XBOX is offline I would like to have another QOS
configuration!

Are you referring to Bandwidth Allocation? There is really no need to do that as gaming will barely use any bandwidth and I assume you have Share Excess enabled anyway so devices will get the bandwidth they need if others aren't using their allocation. To answer your question though no that's not possible with Bandwidth Allocation.

And if you're referring to anti-bufferbloat, you can set it to when high priority traffic is detected/auto-enable and it will lower your speeds only when you're playing a game that's either on DUMA OS Classified Games or one that you manually add (For example I added port 9339 for Brawl Stars, and so my bandwidth is only lowered when I play that on my phone). As Fraser said, gaming uses almost no bandwidth at all (Usually less than 1 mbps) so the QOS is to keep your connection stable and solid. My games use at most 50 mbps for 3 seconds when I load into the game, but that's it.

Gaming uses very small amounts of data, less than 1Mb generally, you don't need 100% for gaming.
