Netduma R2 not connecting lan or WiFi.

So I’ve had my R2 router for only couple months so far, and it has been giving me a lot of issues. Recently, it completely can not connect whether it’s by lan or WiFi. The lan port lights blink for couple seconds and they turn off, then repeats again. I saw a different thread about same issue as me and I tried doing everything in that forum. I reset for 30 seconds, waited and nothing happened. I unplugged it for hours after resetting again, still nothing. I set static IP, that didn’t help either. It was working ok until I came home and realized I couldn’t connect to internet and saw this issue. Before this happened, it would also disconnect by itself sometimes from the internet and I would have to unplug my R2 and plug it back for it to work again. I just think there is something faulty with this router since my friend has one and he has no issues. If possible may I get replacement for it, it’s really annoying. Paid a lot of money for it and has been giving me too many problems. I went back to my old spectrum router until I can get this fixed.  Thank you!

Sorry to hear this!

What IP address were you getting from the R2 before you set a static one? Was it still in the 192.168.77.x format or did it look completely different?

Ya it was same format still. This router has been just having a lot of connectivity issues. I don’t think it’s any other problem other than physical. The lan lights light up for 2-3 seconds then they go away. The 2.4 and 5 ghz WiFi don’t even light up at all. I didn’t even change anything on it. It just began doing this after I got home.

Oh sorry. Before I set up static, my ip was 169.254.x.x. It’s a big headache lol. I asked my friends. None of them really had any issue like this.

Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes then plug in, wait 2 minutes then see what IP it gets. If it's the same hold the reset button for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes then try again

I unplugged it for several hours actually. Got same result. And I just reset it for 30 seconds again and waited. Nothing changed…
