Rapp not loading

Hi,

So I've had the R2 for a couple months now and was occasionally getting the "This R-App is not loaded yet, please try again in a minute" message and the only fix is to restart the router. Now it's happening daily and it's kind of getting old now. I have already changed the retries to 5 as I saw that was recommended, but it didn't change anything. Is there a way to fix this?

Also, a separate question. When I have my geo-filter on, I can't connect to my discord server, so I basically have to turn it off, then join discord, then turn it back on. Is there a way to allow specific connections to bypass the geo-filter?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum!

We are currently investigating this issue so thanks for sharing your experience with it! Are you seeing this in all browsers? Have you tried clearing cache or perhaps an incognito window?

With regards to Geo-filter, leave filtering mode enabled and zoom out fully on the map with Auto-ping disabled. Then join the discord server and look for a blocked server icon to appear on the map. When this happens, click the icon and in the panel that appears, allow the connection.

Hey!

Thanks for the quick reply.

I tried in a different browser, same issue. I cleared cache and went incognito mode and got this error instead "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'split' of undefined".

It's weird, the geo-filter is the only "app" that seems to be giving me issues, but that's really the only app I utilize unfortunately lol. Any other ideas/suggestions to avoid having to restart my router daily?

And great, the discord thing helped, looks like I need to do that every time I connect to discord though correct?

Thanks again

Did you reboot from the interface after adjusting the retry number as you'll need to do that.

When does it occur with the Geo, when loading the page or changing any specific options?

You should only need to do that a few times for Discord to make sure you've got all the servers they use and then you shouldn't need to do it again.

Hi,

Yeah I changed the retry attempts a while back actually, so obviously I've rebooted a bunch since then (from the interface and the router itself).

With Geo, it occurs specifically when trying to load the page. Also, sometimes even if the geo-filter loads properly the enable/disable filtering mode feature doesn't even appear.

Thanks.

So I did this and the issue still persists, this time it was not a rapp not loading error, although I'm sure it would have happened sooner or later. The issue this time was the enable/disable function in my geo-filter not appearing. It's also worth mentioning that the WIFI cuts in and out randomly causing internet loss throughout my house until I restart the router (maybe twice a week or so).

It's unfortunately not worth my time to deal with this router any longer with the given issues, so I will be switching back to my previous router which never gave me any issues.

Thanks anyways

Do you keep the interface open for long periods of time by any chance, even when you're not using them specifically?

Can you provide a screenshot of the enable/disable button not appearing please?

Set your WiFi antennae to look like this _ | | _ and that should help with range and stability.
