power cut during firmware update

yup exactly as the title says my power cut off whilst i was updating to the newest firmware and now the router is bricked any suggestions ?

the power light is on solidly and the 2.4ghz light is flashing fast constantly i cant access the dumo os in the browser it just doesnt open

Could you try holding the reset pin on the back of the router for approximately 30 seconds and allow it a few minutes to reset itself, see if this helps.

Unplug the router from power fully for 10 minutes, then power up, wait 2 minutes, then try to access it. If it doesn't work then try the above again please.

While connected to the R2 via ethernet preferably, open command prompt on your PC, type ipconfig press enter and then post the results here please

That's really odd as the router is still assigning an IP to you. Can you unplug the WAN/internet cable connecting the R2 to your modem and then try again to access the interface please?

unfortunately i just have to bite the bullet on this one 😫 i didnt wanna wait in the preorder que so i purchased mine from ebay

Ah sorry to hear that, if you know the details of the seller or can get them then we still may be able to initiate a replacement but I couldn't say for certain

Keep trying to factory reset it using the button as it could come back to life, you can also try unplugging from power for 24 hours, that can help as well in some cases
