Lose of internet until reboot

I recently got my R2 and  got everything setup. I noticed with Adblocker running if  i leave it enabled for all devices  websites wont load ect.  Hulu wouldn't work with it on  so once i disabled it, things started working again.

 

Now, when i came home from work, i noticed internet was out. i  rebooted the router and not the modem and internet was back.

 

Is this a normal occurrence?  Having to  reboot the router under normal conditions?

Know issue you will be lucky to only have to reboot once a day hopefully an update comes soon.

What is the model of the modem/router you're connected to? If possible setting a static IP for the R2 on that router should resolve the issue but it's also something we're looking into.

modem is the sb8200  router is the r2. Ill set static ip and go from there

That's a pure modem isn't it? So that won't be possible. Disable IPv6 in WAN/LAN settings on the R2 and in LAN Settings change the DHCP lease hours to 168, see if it improves after that.
