XR450 blocking ports on Steam?

Trying to play multiplayer in the game Offworld Trading Company through steam.

The game cannot connect to the other players, it gives the message "waiting for game renderer message".

This only happens when connected through my XR450, other routers work fine.

I even tried putting my PC in the DMZ but still get the same issue.  I also tried setting NAT Filtering to "open".

Current firmware is V2.3.2.114.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

It's most likely that the Geo-Filter is blocking the game, I would recommend disabling it and then it should work fine. It's not a game we have tested.

I have the Geo-Filter off (I think) but the problem remains.

Interesting, on the QoS page can you open the Anti-Bufferbloat 3 line option menu and completely disable QoS and see if it still happens please?

Tried it just now - still  "waiting for game renderer message" when connecting to multiplayer.  The game uses steam for multiplayer.

Do you have adblocker enabled? I'd suggest disabling that as well just in case.

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't use any adblockers.

Could you take a screenshot of the exact error that you're getting please? Do you only experience it with this game?

Only this game, all other Steam games seem okay.

The game works fine when I re-connect my old R8000 router as well.
