It applies the same priority information tags to packets going out to the ISP. The ISP may just ignore these tags, but you may see a performance improvement through using these tags.

Anyway to test this? Ex, using wire shark or something? Like can I confirm on my end that it is actually sending out these packets

In theory yes with Wireshark, if you can't then you may need to follow this guide: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005498/network-and-i-o/ethernet-products.html

That’s not it Fraser! I feel like the apply to wan does make a difference compared to not with Verizon Fios. But I’m looking to see if the tag is applied to my gaming packets specifically

Haha I know, just messing around! That's good news then, we still need to do more testing with the feature to see which ISPs it does seem to work with. It should apply to packets/ports however you've set it up.
